IDEAL's rope-to-chain models offer simple, effective, hands-free raising and lowering of your anchor. These units give the owner of the smaller boat the ability to automatically operate the windlass without having to use an all chain rode and makes anchoring easier and safer than ever.
Ideal offers the rope-to-chain windlass in two configurations and two sizes. Models V1Q and V2Q have a combination wildcat only and are very low profile. The V1R and V2R have a top capstan as well as the combination wildcat. The photos and charts below show these models.
